Transfer rates are quoted in US Dollars but will need to be converted from US Dollars to Rands at the ruling conversion rate at the time of the final invoice.

CHILDREN:
- Children under 7 are not permitted; children 16 years and older are considered adults
- Children aged 7 – 15 years (inclusive) receive a 20% discount off the applicable adult rate
- Suites 24 and 26 (include a 3rd single bed) permit a child to share at a 50% discount off the adult sharing rate
ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE TIMES:
- Check- in time is between 14h00 and 16h00 and check-out time is at 10h00 on the final day
- NB – Kasane Immigration on the Chobe River closes at 16h30 and guests are advised to arrive no later than 16h00
- Requests for an early check-in or late departure will be on request but cannot be guaranteed
ACCOMMODATION:
- Zambezi Queen offers 10 Suites and 4 Master Suites - maximum of 2 persons per Suite except for 2 suites which incorporate sofa couches which can be used by a child under the age of sixteen.
- All accommodation is en-suite with king size beds which can be converted to 2 single beds on request.
- All suites have private balconies and fans, full length sliding shutter doors for both privacy and protection from the sun, mosquito screens and the finest finishes.
- Four Master Suites have their own private deck with outdoor furniture and panoramic views.
FACILITIES ON BOARD:
- On entering the first of 3 decks, guests will find a well appointed air-conditioned reading room which includes a library of books on the fauna, flora and history of the area, numerous games, and a computer facility with internet access. This level also includes a curio shop and cruise director's office.
- The remainder of the first deck and the entire second deck contain the 10 Suites and 4 Master Suites.
- The third level/entertainment deck includes the following: dining facilities, an open plan lounge area with unobstructed views, a computerised telescope for exploring the African night sky and a well appointed bar with the finest wines and spirits.
- All internal areas on the top deck are protected by mosquito screens which allow for a comfortable environment for dining and relaxing.
- There are two outside areas on the top deck, one aft which provides a shaded area with comfortable seating and the other on the foredeck which includes a plunge pool and sun bathing area.
ACTIVITIES FROM BOAT:
- Water-based game viewing from tender boats enabling close-up viewing in an environment where the animals do not feel threatened.
- Zambezi Queen has its own professionally trained guides
- Tiger and bream fishing in season
- Bird watching from tender boats and Zambezi Queen
ACTIVITIES IN AREA (ADDITIONAL CHARGE):
- A light aircraft or helicopter is available for transfers to/ from Victoria Falls, including a sightseeing tour over the Falls
- 9 hole golf course at Kasane
- Spa facility in Kasane (subject to availability)
- Full day return trip to Victoria Falls by land transfer
GENERAL:
- Loud music is absolutely not permitted due to National Park requirements
- Whilst is cannot be guaranteed, cell phone coverage in most areas is available
- At the sole discretion of the captain, the routing or itinerary may be altered due to weather conditions or water levels which fluctuate depending on the time of year.
PAYMENT TERMS:
- In order to secure a booking, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required
- The full balance is required 90 days prior to departure.
- If a booking is made less than 90 days prior to departure, full payment is required to confirm the booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- If a cancellation is made 121 days or more prior to departure, the deposit will be refunded less R1 000 service charge per person
- If a cancellation is made 120 – 91 days prior to departure, all deposits are non-refundable
- If a cancellation is made 90 days or less prior to departure, full payment will be applied as the cancellation penalty
GROUP AND CHARTER BOOKING POLICY:
- Any party reserving 10 or more suites is considered a group booking, in which case a 10% discount will apply
- Charter and group bookings are subject to a negotiated contract
VISAS:
- It is the responsibility of the traveller to determine the nature of any travel documentation and visas required and to ensure that all his/her travel documentation, including but not limited to passports, any necessary visas and medical certificates have been obtained and are in order.
